This help describes AI Video Translator 1.39.0. If you are helping someone and do not know which version they use, ask them to open Settings → About App and read App Version (for example 1.39.0+3; use the part before +). Platforms Windows and macOS App version 1.39.0 Last reviewed 2026-10-05 (source-review)

You can use every feature for free, with your exported video dubbing the first 10 segments. With Premium, you can dub them all.

Use the free version

You can transcribe, translate, make voices and edit every segment. When you export for free, the app dubs the first 10 in order of start time and keeps your video's full length.

With the default settings, you'll still hear background sound after the tenth segment, but no translated voice. If you replace the original audio and turn background overlay off, that later part is silent; Export and audio tracks explains these choices.

You'll see the “Free Limits” banner if your project has more segments than the allowance. You can choose any provider, model or language, as long as you've met its installation or provider requirements.

Dub the whole video

With Premium, you get “Dub every available subtitle segment”. The only difference between tiers is how many segments you can dub, and neither adds a watermark.

You don't need Premium just to use automation. If you require a full dub, a free job over the allowance can stop before translation or voices; Local MCP assistant explains that choice.

Check plans and prices

On Mac, you can choose a Weekly or Monthly plan in the App Store. On Windows, Microsoft Store offers a monthly plan; there's no yearly plan.

You'll see the price in your local currency before you confirm, and it can differ by country. There's no free trial because you can already use the free version.

Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it through your store account.

Understand provider charges

Your subscription doesn't include cloud-provider fees. If you choose cloud services, those providers bill your own account separately; Providers and API keys explains how that works.

You can use on-device models and Apple's built-in providers for free. You don't need an API key to use Premium.

Use videos commercially

You can use either tier commercially, and you keep the rights to your videos and outputs. You're responsible for having the rights to any source material, voices and likenesses you use.

Some models have licence restrictions you'll also need to follow. The terms explain ownership and use, with model conditions in section 6.

Use Premium on another platform

Your subscription belongs to the store where you bought it. A Microsoft Store purchase doesn't unlock Mac, and an App Store purchase doesn't unlock Windows.

If you use both platforms, you'll need separate subscriptions because there's no app account linking them. How many of your computers a purchase covers depends on Microsoft's terms or Apple's usage rules.

Buy or cancel

If you don't have a subscription, “Manage Subscription” opens the purchase options. If Premium is active, it takes you to your store account's subscription page.

  1. Open “Settings”.
  2. Open “Subscription Status”.
  3. Choose “Manage Subscription”.
  4. To buy, review the price in “AI Video Translator Premium”.
  5. To cancel an active plan, cancel it on the store's subscription page.

You can also open the purchase options with “Get Premium” in the “Free Limits” banner. Your store handles payments, renewals, refunds, receipts and invoices; we never receive your payment details.

Restore a purchase

Your store account holds your subscription. If you reinstall or change computers, sign in to the store with the same Microsoft or Apple account.

  1. Sign in to that account in your store.
  2. Open the app.
  3. If Mac Premium is missing, choose “Restore Purchases” under “Subscription Status”.

On Windows, you won't see a restore button. The app checks your account's licence with Microsoft Store.

Fix a missing subscription

You can see when the app last checked your subscription under “Subscription Status”. If your Mac purchase is waiting for approval, Premium unlocks once the App Store confirms it.

  1. If the status looks wrong, restart the app.
  2. On a Mac, choose “Restore Purchases”.
  3. If “Subscription Error” appears, open “Details”.
  4. Choose “Send Feedback”.
  5. Include the app version from “About App”.

If you prefer email, contact ai.video.translators@gmail.com. If the app can't reach the store, Premium may be temporarily unavailable until it can check your subscription.

Keep work after cancelling

If you cancel, you keep your projects, voices and exported videos. Once the subscription ends, new exports dub the first 10 segments again, and everything else keeps working.
